“Technology is everything that doesn’t work yet” – Danny Hillis
I always cringe when I see software developers describe their software as “beta”.
I think that’s one of those terms that technical people understand but which is a mystery to literally everybody else.
Software should always be “under construction”, and so will never be finished.
But I understand why it happens. It’s painful to show something that is still so far from what you can already imagine it to be. The key is to realise that the value you get from feedback is worth the discomfort, even when what you have is still a work-in-progress.
So, with that in mind, here is a quick demo video showing some of the things you can do with One Metric today…
I’m really keen to hear what you think of this. What have I got right? What am I missing? What else would you like to see it do? Hit me up on twitter with your thoughts.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been excited to see some people start to use One Metric. It’s fascinating to see what they do with it, and I’ve already learned a lot.
I’m hoping to extend the invite to some others shortly. If you’d like to be part of that group, please register your interest today.
